What ISP do you use? What kind of service do you have? What is its upload and download speed? How much do you pay for it a month? I'm searching for an ISP and I mistakingly singed up for earthlink DSL today. I need to cancel the order before its too late. I found a better deal with ATT, which I thought would not service my area but they do.

We were grown from cells that came from the universe, which the matter and physics I'm typing in it is amazing how the universe is working. Human life is very amazing. How I experience this sh*t its like wow.

I've used AT&T for years in Oklahoma. I started using ISDN with Southwestern Bell way back in 1994, then moved on to DSL a few years later and ultimately went with a small business package and fixed IP addresses when I was hosting my own web servers. I've never had any real issues with AT&T (AKA Southwestern Bell). I'm using AT&T Uverse at the moment, and the fiber tranmission rates are excellent. From what I can tell, AT&T service varies by region, so your mileage may vary.

Only Verizon around here, other choice is Charter cable and I hear it really bites. It is DSL at 1.5 megabits, can't really complain since the CO is a bit of a ways from here. I am past the theoretical drop off point. If I recall, didn't you have Sprint wireless in the past?

AT&T, DSL, slow, $50 (US) w/ 5 static IPs Definitely the AT&T service varies by location. My connection is solid, but I'm 20 feet too far from the nearest CO so I can't get any of the faster service they offer. Mark

I thought you were coming to visit in the Spring - well, you were thinking about it, sorta... Too late, Spring has sprung and moved on to Summer, now that the temperature has reached 100°F at last. Time to put away the thermal undies and sweaters, I guess. Oh well, I've been totally laid up for two months and wouldn't have been much fun anyway. But I'm on the mend, and have a new gun for you to sample. :-D Let me know if you plan to be in the area for a quick dose of sunstroke this season! ;)
