we used NCC [^]at my old company. The verification process was painful. We had about 80 different VB components (some VB5!) that hadn't been touched or even rebuilt since the mid 90's. No build script or anything, we just had to go through the entire build process for everything from scratch on a clean machine (including installing all the 3rd party controls and stuff that we needed). That's the only time I've ever done it though, so I've got nothing to compare it too. I'd imaging any escrow company would have been the same. It was really the lack of any automated build process that made my experience so bad, not NCC's fault. I wasn't responsible for choosing the company so I can't comment or costs or anything like that. (All in all, beyond the name I'm not much help :) sorry)
