I've been using 1-800 Hosting[^] for over two years and their service has been very good. If you don't need a dedicated server, and a virtual server is fine with you, try SolarVPS[^]. I just ordered a server with them about a month ago and support has been awesome. And you can install anything you want (it's a Windows machine after all.) I purchased a Windows VM at SolarVPS and I'm really happy with it. They even phoned me to notify me of a little delay on the activation. The machine is really stable so far (and that's not guaranteed for many other providers).

So, over the course of the last two weeks I've been trying to order a dedicated server at SuperbHosting for this project I'm doing for a company. Never before in my life have I experienced a more rigorous payment procedure. Apparently my order was flagged as a possible scam, so I had to compile like 5 different documents before they would accept my order. So I did that - which took like a week since various people needed to scan their ID, credit card statement and what not. Anyway, I finally got the requested documentation and sent it to them. Unfortunately they didn't feel like waiting so they just canceled my order. So, I contacted the billing department. They wrote to me (calling me Jason...whom I'm not acquainted with) and told me to place a new order and supply a comment that I had already supplied the billing department with the necessary papers. Ok I thought. Fine. Whatever. So I headed for their homepage ready for placing a new order. I mean, no biggie right, they take security seriously which is good I reckon. Unfortunately they are so up on security that they have blocked my IP because of fraud!!! Yeah baby, I'm fraudster. Anyway I just sent and email to the billing department asking them if I can offer them a vile (sic) of my DNA to prove to them I'm not a scammer. So basically I just want to ask: Do UPS transport DNA?

You can be sent by UPS and then they can take the DNA... :rolleyes:
I'm sure they have that as an option in their list of business procedures. Seems like it anyway. :)

If you're looking for other suggestions... I was with ManageMyBox for about a year and they were great. Good prices and the support was excellent. I just changed over to PC Core (a BurstNET) reseller because I was looking for an East Coast server. Their prices are quite low, and they seem OK support-wise. The BurstNET network appears to be quite fast - I think they went through an upgrade since my tests show faster downloads now, than I got a few months ago.

Yes, their support has been great. I've messed up the server a couple of times, and they've been there to help almost immediately. So far, every ticket I've sent has received a response within 15 minutes. So far, I've been very very happy! :)
