Server Controls - please help?

I'm using VS 2005 on .Net 2.0 and i'm having problems trying to create 2 server controls. The one control needs to be able to display an image and the other a video and in some way i need to be able to link their properties and drive their events in my web application.Is this possible? :~ Can anyone guide me as how i would start this task or have any code they've used when developing similar controls that i could use to get an idea of how to proceed? Any advice is much appreciated :cool: Thanks :-D
