The other day, someone posted about free DVD rippers. My kids have some stuff they did on the handycam and want to share the short clips with their friends. Anyone have a good suggestion? -- modified I did find the thread from the other day, and looking though it. Any other suggestions are welcome :-D

There was DVDShrink, DVD Decrypter, but I just remembered Dr. Divx can also open VOBs directly if they are not encrypted. Quick and easy way to covert raw footage to Divx

I checked out DVD Decrypter that was suggested the other day, and it is okay, but I was looking to work with individual chapters rather than one whole .vob file. I'll look at Dr. Divx :-D

DVD Decrypter should be able to do that if you use IFO mode instead of file mode.

I was going through as file mode, looking into the IFO mode right now.
