          I am glad there was a date on that one. When I read it I found it was interesting but not any where near current.

              yeah just in the most popular link box. i am of the opinion that the "RISC" processor is dead, does anyone disagree? with the advent of FPGAs and ever cheaper ASICs i think that the only way forward is a full complement of instructions in a generic micro otherwise get a custom chip/FPGA to do the trick.
