Does Visual Studio break the IE7 search when installed under Vista? I've had two machines exhibit this behavior, the second was on a fresh Vista Ultimate box today. After isntalling Vista ultimate I was able to use the "Search" box in IE7. I then proceeded to install my Visual Studio with VS SP1 and VS SP1 for Vista and the "Search" box in IE7 no longer works. Any suggestions?

What happens in IE? How does the search box "no longer work"? What happens when you try to use it? and what versions of IE and VS do you have? Regards, --Perspx

Thanks for the reply. Nothing happens with the search. I type a keyword, press enter, and it does nothing. IE Version is IE7 on the Vissta Ultimate (64 bit) box. Tried both IE7 and upgrading to IE8 Beta on the previous Vista Home Premium (32 bit) box, but that didn't fix the problem. Visual Studio 2005 w/ SP1 and SP1 for Vista.
