It depends on which operating system you are using, but perhaps setting a user profile with access to 'My computer' disabled would do it ? Elaine :rose: Would you like to meet my teddybear ?

Windows 95 Power Toys Set or Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP The program you'll be interested in is TweakUI. I'm going from memory here, but I believe there's a "Desktop" tab in it. Whatever the tab's called, TweakUI will take care of what you want to do. Jeremy Falcon Imputek "Life is too precious - don't waste it." - Norm Almond

I just bit the bullet and installed Power Toys at work on a Win2K machine. Funny, it lists every icon but "My Computer". LOL! I'll check my registry reference when I get home and dig some info up. Jeremy Falcon Imputek "Life is too precious - don't waste it." - Norm Almond

Jeremy Falcon wrote: Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP It's even simpler in Windows XP. Just open "Display Properties", go to the "Desktop" tab, click "Customize Desktop...". You'll find everything under the "General" tab. FreeBSD is sexy. Getting closer and closer to actually submit an article...
