Thunder Storms

Who enjoys a good thunder storm. One has just started here and its pretty mental luckily I'm sat in work in the dry. Wish I had my camera though so I could try and get some photo's :)

I love thunderstorms. Especially the part when I get home from a 10 hour day at work, kick off my shoes, open a beer, and the phone rings. It's my boss asking if I would be available to patrol the power lines in the dark on a stormy night with nothing but a flashlight, to look for downed lines, blown fuses, or busted jumpers. On mud roads, two feet deep with reddish slime that wants to suck my truck under if I dare to stop for two seconds, and visibility 6" past the hood of my vehicle. Of course, I only have a quarter tank of fuel, and since the power is out I can't buy more - the pumps don't work. Of course I love them - I need the overtime pay, and I don't have any problem working 22 hours straight through. :-D
