The talk about Metallica and Judas Priest got me thinking about some albums I listen to straight through. Personally, I like to listen to Metallica, Pink Floyd, and Van Halen when coding. Absolutely LOVE the last two Judas Priest albums, Nostradamus and Angel of Retribution, and the last Iron Maiden album, A Matter of Life and Death. Too bad Kiss (who is my favorite band) can't get their act together and make good music again.... Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation Blues Brothers - Soundtrack Cinderella - Night Songs Damn Yankees - Damn Yankees and Don't Tread Def Leppard - High n Dry, Pyromania, Hysteria Great White - Once Bitten (the album), Twice Shy (the album) Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction, GNR Lies Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution, Nostradamus Kiss - Creatures of the Night, Destroyer, Revenge Led Zeppelin - I, II, IV Metallica - Kill em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, And Justice For All Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Oz, Diary of a Madman, The Ultimate Sin Pink Floyd - Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall Ted Nugent - Ted Nugent, Spirit of the Wild Van Halen - Van Halen, Van Halen II, Women and Children First, Fair Warning, Diver Down, 1984 (sometimes I listen to them all back to back) Whitesnake - Whitesnake

Huh? I listen to all albums all the way through, doing otherwise makes for too many trips to the turntable player. Just yesterday I dusted off and cranked up some old U2 LPs. Maybe the Smiths today... I really ought to buy them on CD some day... eh, maybe on the next format.

Yeah, generally I grab a handful of CDs; like a bunch of Beatles, Pink Floyd, Gary Numan, Adam Ant, or the Alarm to provide background music.
