I had such a fantastic experience placing my first order on eBuyer[^] that I thought I should share it with those of you in the UK.  I wanted to order an inverter for the car / Land Rovers so after hunting my usual preferred site (Overclockers[^]) and finding they didn't have any I tried eBuyer. Anyway browsing / searching through it was a pleasure to find what I wanted so I ordered the inverter and decided while I was at it to get an extra 4GB of RAM for my desktop (don't worry it's a 64-bit) as they had a good deal on with it.  While going through the payment process there were a few "quirky" things such as only being able to ship to the address on the credit card (might be a problem when I go back to halls) but then a little tooltip popped up and explained this was only for the first order to act as a form of verification for some reason.  Fair enough. Anyway, immediately after hitting submit I realised I might as well have got a DVD±RW for the desktop as well since the existing one keeps on jamming.  Bugger.  Anyway checked my emails and there was a note there saying that the inverter had been discontinued, please go back to the site to find out more.  So I logged back in and they'd automatically listed three other inverters as a replacement, clicked the one I wanted and it simply replaced it on the order.  While I was there I noticed there was a tab to add items to the order so had a look at that.  Well what do you know, unless the order's been packed you can change things as much as you want so added a DVD±RW to the order (this was the only "negative" experience, I had to find the product I wanted and copy & paste the quick find code into the box to add it to the order).  When I checked my inbox again there were emails confirming each of the actions I had taken, nice for archiving. So now I need to wait until Monday for my order to come through and hopefully won't need to try their customer support.  All in all a fantastic experience so far, if it hadn't been for Overclocker's not having the inverter I'd have gone back to them (they've been fantastic on support, we had a 22" TFT delivered to a neighbour [Christmas present for Dad] us with a crack in the screen and although it was a month later (after Chr

Good to hear a postive experience. I like Ebuyer. I've tried a few sites over the years, and think they are the best.

Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.
