I just saw an iPhone app that will allow you to hum a song and it will identify it. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't vouch for it's accuracy. It's called Midomi. Good luck. Michael

We had fun playing with this last Christmas. You sing or hum a tune and it gives you suggestions of what it is based on recordings by other people. http://www.midomi.com/[^] It worked well for some songs, not so much for others. The idea I think is that people tend to remember the same catchy parts of songs.
