      This is my new favorite thing to do with bacon: The Bacon Weave[^] Instead of cooking many loose pieces you just weave them together and get the whole project over in one shot.

                    I figure bacon makes it easier on the heart. It must pump to maintain pressure, and with umpteen leaky holes the pumping can't be easy. Plug a few holes here & there, and give your heart a break I say! Mmmm... bacon... -- Ian
