I was just about to post a message saying that in advance of today's clue I was going to get the CCC today as I felt confident. Cue archive footage of Battle of Britain fighters spinning out of control, smoke billowing from their engines and the pilot leaping out of the burning wreckage pulling the ripcord. All I can get is mad and al. Maybe tomorrow.

That's the first one I was able to get on my own, and then I see that someone else solved it an hour or so ago!! Curses!! I say fie on't! The CCC has made slaves of us all!!
