Has anyone seen the new technics models for the first quarter of 2009. Well they are all very disappointing.[^] . What happened to the good'ol pneumatic parts and sets that contain 1000+ blocks. The power functions and mechanical actuators get dull after a while.

A dogged, arrogant belief in self and the childlike idealism that comes with not knowing my limits. This is my greatest blessing, my priceless attribute.

just design your own. :) build a robot or something. :) Hell, I built a rat-trap powered racer for my brother for his college engineering course using lego gears. He couldn't figure it out, so I did. :) Lego used to be about creativity, now it is about following instructions... :( However, if you want a challenge: Taj Mahal[^] or I could create[^] you a challenge..... :-D just be warned....[^]

Yeah you right, I should take all my models and rip them apart and build my own creation :) Taj Mahal, wow a stunning model. Would have a hard time locating it here in South Africa though. And ordering online, well I am bit skeptical since stuff tends to go missing when ordered :sigh: That last model is it your creation? :omg: ... pure madness, how many blocks is that..?

:(( so lucky... I'll begin my hunt tomorrow for those models. I have seen the mobile crane before, but due to Murphy's law i was broke at the time :sigh: This site has some older models for sale, like the mobile crane [^] but for 6000 ZAR aka +- $600 its way overpriced.
