For the first time ever I've seen snow in East Texas in December. It's a rare occassion that we get snow at all and if we do it's normally in January (when our winter normally starts and ends). Last night we got about 1/2 inch of snow and it stuck! I find that amazing for it being 72 degrees yesterday. I'm off to work (where I don't have access to this site) so I won't be back for about 12 hours. Have a great day everybody.

Don't blame me. I voted for Chuck Norris.

Snow seems to be earlier and more in eastern part this year. Hope it has nothing to do with the hash economy.

And all those imbeciles who decided to ALL "hit" the roads at the same time yesterday after-noon!! The good thing about that, is to make fun of all those morons with rear transmissions sport cars that get stuck on really low incline streets while ordinary cars with normal front transmissions go by with no problem at all. Probably took me less time to walk from downtown to home than it would have taken me by car.

It went from -15C yesterday to 11C today with 80kph winds and rain. My umbrella turned into a venus fly trap on my head. Time for a new one.

Seems strange, to old farts like me, to regard front wheel drive as normal and rear wheel as different. Used to be the other way round.

Montreal yesterday: 2 hours to drive 10 Kilometers (6.2 miles). Heavy snow (20cm = 8 inches) + freezing rain + hail I hate winter.
