Peston Strikes Again

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/robertpeston/[^] This guy has been ridiculed by Rory Bremner and more, but for the life of me, no one can figure out why he is still on the telly. Paxman should really take him to the park if not live TV and get him sacked for talking trash and discovering information 'me, me, me' way (appears in first sentence). Top Christmas Gift for your competitors :)

I agree. The man irritates me somewhat chronic! The way he starts his reports with "Wellll..." drives me mad. I'm just waiting for him to make a big mistake in his reporting and then have to explain himself in a cross interview (Paxman style). But the man must have good contacts in the Treasury and the Exchange because he's quite accurate. I guess that's what keeps him in his job. His breaking report about HBOS and Lloyds on News 24 told me that I might be losing my job in the near future.

Couldn't agree more. > His breaking report about HBOS and Lloyds on News 24 told me that I might be losing my job in the > near future. That was in fact a breach of FSA rules, but nope they still keep him on, and on TV.. I've learn to swith channels on his appeareance, and nobody at BBC really cares, but they lost it recently anyway.. Hope all goes well for the job though.. that's what happens when traders get too high on white sugar, and get support from our pockets so they can do it again. What a sales-show, and nobody called an election, anywhere in the world.. brilliant.
