Christian has. He's the only one I'm aware of though.

I have written a few (but none in the APP Store yet). Christian Graus has an App called DIA. At 198 MB it is probably the largest application in the App Store. You need to search for DIA or by author name (Damian).

Cool. Let me know if you want me to do any alpha/beta testing.

I work with a guy who has played around the dev environment but decided that it was too risky going full bore with the App Store. Apple controls which applications it will allow to be released and he already knows some people who've been rejected by Apple for no reason. Apple's arbitrariness in what they decide is a growing complaint, among other things. It doesn't help that Google isn't following Apple's rules and got a pass. (I did note that halfway through the article, someone from Gartner research offered a negative opinion about Android. Since they're almost always wrong and dramatically so, perhaps Android is the way to go.)

Guilty as charged. Recently uploaded the first game for the company I work for. Movin' Maze 3D. It's fun. Spent about 4-5 months struggling with the Mac / Cocoa / iPhone to get first our game engine and then the game ported onto the iPhone. Seems too long based on a "You can make a iPhone app within a week" propoganda going around when it came out... My excuse is that I'd never worked on a Mac before :~.

fixed that for you. I think your total dev time was fairly reasonable all things considered.

Try telling that to Marketing. On hind-sight though, iPhone development is not too bad. I still don't know half as much as I'd like to know about programming the iPhone... I just scraped through patching things here and there to get things up and running.. Hoping I get some real playtime with the Mac / iPhone dev stuff.
