Another Windows 7 impressions

Not by me, but there were several things that simply made me go W...T...F... so I thought it would be nice to share with the rest of you to see what we're in for with windows 7. I can already say I hate new windows taskbar even though I've never used it. http://www.winsupersite.com/win7/win7_simple.asp[^]
If you dont want to read try this[^] Look at ease of the windows management in this video[^] Just installed on my pc and looks good... and looks like Windows Vista Service Pack 4, faster then vista (still not able to find any problem with windows vista since 1 year).

Seriously, though - before putting out a beta, it should have gone through much more stringent usability testing. I don't want Windows to do things differently. I want it to do them BETTER. So far, I've seen no compelling reason to buy Vista 2.0 when it comes out.

Correct. you cannot spend $300+ for Windows Vista Service Pack 4 :) . Looks like Windows Vista with UAC turned OFF + Touch + something...

I can understand your posts better. Whether that is because of an improvement in English or in typing skills is something you would have to determine.

The whole idea of a beta is to get it tested with a broad audience. Lets not start shooting this OS before it has even gotten to the market, who can honestly say that they'v ever created a program that worked right from the start without any problems? I think it's still a bit (much) to early to start saying that windows7 is 'bad' or 'good' it has only been out for a few days now, give it some time.

I have yet to find one thing in Vista that I like better than XP. The only reason I'm using Vista atm is for IIS7. Granted I don't use all of the features on Vista but for me the features I do use on a daily basis are annoying on Vista when compared to XP. (VS2008 > VS2005 > VS2003) < VS6 :D

The "dock" concept (mixing launch and running program icons, with a single icon able to do double-duty for both functions) dates back at least twenty years to NextStep... And frankly, bringing this functionality to the Windows taskbar has been long overdue. Screen space is precious, even on today's large screens; wasting it on duplicate icons for launching, switching, and program status display has never made sense.

I hope you are not using any product from Google. The most of the products from google are still in Beta. :-)
