I am not sure what the temp is here (Pittsburgh PA) but I know it is well below freezing (0C) and probably below 0F. There was a light snow most of the day yesturday making leaving work a real adventure since there are no road crews to be found anywhere in the city. Not as bad here, 1F and no wind -> YET. Tonight it's supposed to go down to -5F with a 20MPH wind - wind chills going down to -25F. It's not North Dakota type stuff, but damn cold for south-east Michigan.

LMAO, I remember seeing a report on the Mpemba Effect when I was about 12 years old and it was a fresh phenomenon. I still remember the terrible way his teacher treated Mpemba, while refusing to do the experiment himself because Mpemba's reported results violated "common sense."
