Hi everybody. I just wanted to give you guys an update regarding my current status. I may have gotten a cold from the future misses, but otherwise I am fine. From November 27th to January 9th I had radiation and chemo therapies, and starting February 9th, I will have an additional chemo. The current state of my tumor is unknown, but I will have an MRT on February 6th to prepare for the additional chemo. Then, we will see. I haven't had the motivation to keep up with Codeproject, or, as a matter of fact, anything that seems work-related for me. However, I'll try to improve on my posting frequency, and wish you all the very best.

Best Wishes. I hope the chemo wasn't too bad, people react in different ways, so I hope you didn't feel like crap.

Good luck with the chemo, I hope all goes well for you. I just lost my mom to cancer a few months ago, sadly it was too fast for her to make it to chemo. Best wishes:rose:

Hi Sebastian, My best wishes to you and your family ! I am a cancer survivor myself, and when I was facing treatment a friend sent me a link to this article by famed evolutionary scientist Stephen Jay Gould, who himself survived for thirty years after his experience of lung cancer (mesothelioma) in 1982. I personally found the article very helpful in "making sense" of what my doctors (and my research on my type of cancer) was telling me about statistical probabilities of survival, recurrence, etc. Gould wrote this article specifically to comment on the issues we face in evaluating statistical information on outcomes of complex health issues, and I personally think it's of value to anyone facing a possibly serious illness involving drastic treatment modalities like chemotherapy and radiation, or anyone dealing with a family member going through such an illness : http://www.cancerguide.org/median_not_msg.html[^] I found this article both "wise" and "comforting." Hope you find it so, also. best, Bill

Sebastian, I'm thinking how difficult it's gotta be not knowing what will happen with the cancer. Man. I hope and pray you make it through.

Gould wrote this article specifically to comment on the issues we face in evaluating statistical information on outcomes of complex health issues, and I personally think it's of value to anyone facing a possibly serious illness involving drastic treatment modalities like chemotherapy and radiation, or anyone dealing with a family member going through such an illness : http://www.cancerguide.org/median_not_msg.html[^] I found this article both "wise" and "comforting." Hope you find it so, also. best, Bill

This is an error. The engine can arrange and combine numerical quantities as if they were letters or any other general symbols; and it fact it might bring out its results in algebraical notation, were provisions made accordingly." Hell yeah. That article is my bible already. Thanks for reposting the link here, I had it printed out, but forgot to save the link.
