Well, for the first time in years
-
I now have a job. I had been working on selling my consulting/outsourcing business for the last three months and "escrow" finally closed today this afternoon. :-D The only minor downside from my point of view is that the new owner wanted me to stay on for six months to a year to help with the existing clients and contractors. Fair enough I suppose since he has to pay me but, it means that I now have to report to someone else, other than a customer, at least in a limited capacity for a little while. It is going to take some getting used to.

Then what? Once the six months are up, what will you do? Go on to be an astronaut? Take over a small island in the Pacific? Start a new fashion line? Become the star of a new reality TV show? Paris is still looking for a new BFF...

I was planning on opening a GM or Chrysler dealership. In all truthfulness I haven't fully decided. I have a couple of options here locally and we have thought about moving back to Phoenix or San Diego.

How may people want to watch a show about a guy in his 30s brewing beer? That would be fun.

The city or the crazy girl? The city I could put up with.
