A couple of months back I bought Parallels for the Mac, having previously used BootCamp. Ever since, I've been having a host of problems - frequent hanging, slow system, locking USB memory sticks, occasionally unable to connect to the internet within Parallels. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced problems too or am I just unlucky? John.

Get a PC! C'mon! Someone had to say it. It was sitting there, dangling, begging to be said... In all serious, though, I've been using VMWare precisely because of mutterings about Parallels and stability, and have had no issues at all. Might be worth a trial.

      cheers, Chris Maunder

Darn it Chris, I was waiting for someone to say "Get a real computer" and I had my answer already worked out... I'll have a look at VMWare and give that a go. The downside will be re-installing everything again - XP, .Net, SQL Server, Visual Studio and a whole bunch more - it's the best part of a day now! Thanks again, John.
