Moron kid[^] refuses to drink because he thinks that he's drinking what others could use in the coming AGW droughts. I can't decide if I should blaim Al and his Grammy[^], or the hospital for thwarting Darwin's good work. This reminds me of the idiot that killed herself because of the LHC. Kids these days are already screwed up enough, and it only stands to get worse if the left gets their way[^].

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

'The Australian doctors wrote the case up as the first known instance of "climate change delusion."' Far from the first, I am afraid.

Maybe he was talking about ol' Albert. Of course he'd still be wrong, but I could consider it an honest mistake then.

"Children would have the ability to choose their own religion while parents would only have the authority to give their children advice about religion." Isn't this kinda how things have always been? I've seen a lot of parents work hard to religion-ify into their kids. On some it works, on others rebelion. Sounds like freedom of choice in the end to me.

So have I. In some ways it's like politics. Some very conservative people I know come from very liberal families and vice versus.

Absolutely. Kids hit 12-13 and begin to question their parents values. By 14, the parents are still expected to drive them everywhere, but let them off a block from their destination so no sign of dependency is revealed to their peers. By 18 they're happily reinventing themselves. At the same time, most parents, including, back in the day, yours truly are not really thrilled about folks not vetted by the parents having access to preteens to offer up views in opposition to the parents. That includes folks who want to preach about other religions, other politics, other sexual preferences, etc, as well as folks who want to share their views on why 10 years old is a good age to smoke dope, have sex, or drink hard liquor. Those who haven't had children will, I suspect, find such an attitude terribly old-fashioned. My guess is that very few actual parents will.

That and the guy not drinking water reminds me of Dr Strangelove. Gentlemen, no fighting in the war room! Also interesting is one of the ads in the middle of that page (beside the one for Ann Coulter..), targeted at the sort of people who read that site: http://shop.wnd.com/store/item.asp?DEPARTMENT_ID=7&SUBDEPARTMENT_ID=111&ITEM_ID=2147[^] That is nothing short of totally freakin' awesome! What kind of mental gymnastics do you need to show that Jesus packed heat?

What a pile of crap. This kid is mental. He wasn't made insane by his exposure to news sources, that just gave his insanity something to focus on.

Yeah, like blaming The Beatles for Manson, or Ozzy for the suicide solution kid. But it makes for a neat headline. :-D
