Advertising With TARP Funds Is Tricky Business

OK then, what's the difference between a simultaneous and a sequential game?
Simultaneous game is when players move with little knowledge of the other player's actions. Sequential is like chess.

Dude, you were just owned by a 14yo.

No matter how many times a read the article(s) on the page you linked to, I can't find even the suggestion that the government is influencing who the banks advertise with. The main article talks about BoA "being the target of a scathing report" about their 5 day superbowl event. As I recall, that "scathing Report" was by Fox news (I watch Fox often...), and was well deserved by BofA. Even given 14,000 new accounts, the cost per account was absurd... I think you may be jumping to conclusions here. There's enough wrong with TARP and AERRA that we don't need to attract ridicule by inventing stuff that is imaginary.

The door is open a crack and government stuck it's foot in (maximum wage cap). While US has not overtly dictated what advertisers a company can use that recieves TARP funds, I believe it's not far away.

It’s been surprising what has happened since Sept 18th of last year; I would never believed it, hard to get my head around it. Perhaps it is best to accept Christian Guas's point that they (TARP) recipients are now government entities, and they will act on the parties behalf that has power. But, I respect your point that I should not get ahead of the curve. However the power the federal government will be able to wield as a result of bailouts is enormous. The number of ways it could and will be leveraged will keep the politicians up late trying to exploit.

Dude - that's true of every person who posts, except Illion. That's what happens when people post. The difference is, when you post, we typically end up thinking the same thing, every time.

Not at all. I don't believe I live in a utopia ( although my life is pretty damn good, perhaps it's more correct to say, I don't believe Americans live in a utopia ).

This means you need to do less drugs. That's all it proves. Oh, and that you feel helpless, which is not surprising. It's also not surprising that I do not feel that way.

Everything you know about current events comes from the TV, and other media
Well, given the internet, it's worse than that. Most people, you included, can believe whatever they like, because they will find a website or youtube video to back up their beliefs.

Bollocks. Like I said, it's worse than that. People have no idea b/c they can choose media sources that back up what they want to believe.

This is part of the delusion of grandeur. Most people don't get it, so you are better than them. I'm afraid it's not the case. Most people don't believe it, because it's crap.

Yeah. You are parroting your conspiracy videos here. Funny enough, I think my leader is a tosser, and believe close to nothing he says. I don't trust yours much more than that. Just because our leaders are corrupt, does not prove that the most extreme theory you hear has to be true. We've discussed this before, and you have nothing to back up your beliefs. So, you

NO. I bet I could write a program that simulates a simple economy. You could watch the money flow.

A realistic economy model is required. Anything else is just Monopoly(tm).

First, he finds some sucker and begs them to give him a quarter. Then he tries to hit the slot in the machine with it.
