    We are happy to announce that POP3 technology is now available to Hotmail users in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. If you don’t see your country or region in this list, never fear, we’ll be rolling POP3 out to more parts of the world later this year. http://windowslivewire.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!2F7EB29B42641D59!32413.entry[^] Now at last I can access Hotmail on my iPhone. :-\ Update : Article is from Jan 14th but they have activated for US now.           WooHoo, I'll be able to pick up my hotmail in evolution again! Hasn't worked since they turned off WebDav access. Russell

              Yes. In that article they didn't mention US. But they enabled for US during last week and I found about it today only. Get Hotmail on your mobile phone’s e-mail program. POP3 access is becoming available to Hotmail users in the US and Brazil, in addition to the countries we told you about earlier. For more about this feature, see our earlier blog post.                   I still think it's an odd selection of countries.. The Netherlands and France and Germany but not Belgium? What's the logic behind that?

                      Whenever there is a disaster, e.g. bush fire, flood etc., reported on the news, the area affected is always described in Belgiums: "The flooding covered an area the size of Belgium". MS is just not taking any chances.
