    Dear all, I got a Laptop for my friend suffering the following problems: - When u turn on the laptop, the Network card is disabled already by default - When i turn it to enabled a blue screen comes up on the whole screen of the monitor, it tilt, and freezez. i have to force shutdown. The laptop is DELL and with WINXPSP3 OS. Any help ??

      Start with updating the driver for the Network card. Check that you're not having more than one software firewall. Check for virus.

        What Model of Dell You can check the Cmos setup and make sure the Nic is enable and also check what setting options you have. You can get to the setup by pressing the F2 or F10 one of thoes function keys.
