Interviewed this week, Correctional Services spokesman, Manelisi Wolela, avoided the most prescient question of all: "Does the department believe that Schabir Shaik is at death's door?" "Okay, the next one," said Wolela.[^] Schabir Shaik is serving a fifteen year sentence for corruption related charges, including some involving Jacob Zuma, who was paradoxically found innocent.  He is set to get medical parole, which is strictly reserved for only those with terminal illnesses.

They go hand in hand in hand.
