Is there a buit-in UI for managing the BITS (background intelligent transfer service, a.k.a. Drizzle) downloads in XP? I didn't see anything relevant under Computer Management, and the online "help" turned up no hits. --Mike-- Just released - RightClick-Encrypt v1.4 - Adds fast & easy file encryption to Explorer My really out-of-date homepage Sonork-100.19012 Acid_Helm

Not that I've found, other than the BITS IE sample (and that's not built-in) There is some command line utils in a reskit for it. I started working on a gui for it, as I got sick of all the spyware download managers, and wanted something that would be able to leech stuff in the background (why oh why can't QoS settings have a 'less than everything else priority', woulda just used that) while playing Shattered Galaxy or some other online game. :) Jim Wuerch www.miwasoft.com Quote from my readme files: "This is BETA software, and as such may completely destroy your computer, change the alignment of the planets and invert the structure of the universe."
