Many of the replies agreed that TV is going to suck in how the coverage is presented; I agree there too. The *only* things I liked about the coverage was Fox News not running commercials (and as far as I could see there weren't any product placements). And while the various memorials were taking place there wasn't much going on except for focus on the memorials. Going by past experiences, my friend said TV would suck because he just doesn't care. It's truly sad, but thats the way he is but he's the only friend I have left after my other friends moved away and -- later -- I moved away for uni. The question I guess you need to ask yourself is, what sort of friend is it whose opinions you ( rightly ) hold in contempt ? My best friend lives over 1,000 klm away. I have other friends, but I admit to being happy with a fairly solitary life ( plus I have my wife and children, which makes it different ), but my life is too busy to pursue the friendship of people I do not like. Thats a very hard question to answer; and one I've answered before when I realized it was best to break contact with some friends who thought life was all about getting wasted. Unlike the previous friendships though; we have a lot of common interests -- I met him in my high school programming class. I guess my concerns are whether or not his apathy is worth the only friendship I can say I have left (excluding everyone here of course :)) I hope you don't charge too much for being a psychiatrist  James "And we are all men; apart from the females." - Colin Davies

Before that all my .NET XML experience has been with the XMLSerializer class. Who knows though; perhaps my limited knowledge is enough to answer some questions you have so fire away ;) I'm also hoping/betting that Paul would be listening. Well, it's more that I've written a wrapper class for the C# XML stuff, and a GUI app that exposes it and provides a simple editor for XML/XSL and XSD. I posted to the testing forum but no-one has answered and I'm hoping to find a couple of folks willing to test it for me and comment, because it's for a magazine article and it's grown in size beyond what I am likely to be able to test as thoroughly as I would like.
