Where is Dato when I need some up-votes? Obama is not just using subliminal messages, but textbook covert hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming techniques on audiences that are intentionally designed to sideline rational judgment and implant subconscious commands to think he is wonderful and elect him President.[^]

Try the SoapBox 2.0. I think I saw a post from him (deleted) over there while I was visiting for a chuckle at the empty place. :-D

"It is undeniable how Obama significantly tilts his head to the right in these and other interviews, but not when Obama is giving speeches." I think the part about not when he is giving speeches says everything we need to know.

I get my news online or via radio, so I guess I'm immune. On a seperate note, I miss the the Dato's and Captain C#'s, I know that makes me a wack job too, but some people just like to watch the train crash... :-O

Me too. Then you get the type that yesterday saw fit to delete Dato's only post in how long.

Only if you don't hear the Man himself speaking too much on the radio. He'll soon have you walking zombi-like, arms outstretched, toward the nearest TV.

Well, you want to go into Soap Box-light, you gotta expect it to get scrubbed clean. Here you have the three laziest and most ineffectual moderators on the planet so you can get just about as down and dirty as you wish. ;) You'll have to take Dato by the hand and lead him here, though. I doubt he could find it by himself - too many alien space waves blinding him.

              That started with Milton Berle.

I have to admit I do like horror movies, the zombie genre best of all (before that I liked Dr Who, a progressive disease no doubt). My wife likes Jane Austen; I'm not sure who has the bigger problem.

I saw Fido a few weeks ago, unimpressive, 28 weeks later I think is best of the genre so far. Liked Serenity (saw just recently), liked Resedent Evil (who can't like Milla Jovovich [^]no matter what movie she was in!!!), however, I'm getting a kick out of Max Brooks novels, probably start Z Wars next week.

You must mean he found the Soap Box Lite yesterday, not The Back Room (AKA Genuine SoapBox). I don't think any of us moderators would delete Dato; he's much too amusing, and Chris only looks in here to see if we've given up and gone away yet...

If Milla Jovovich played main characters in the Jane Austen flicks I might be tempted to watch... but she needs to be fully armed to engage those with bad manners.

I didn't think 28 Weeks Later was anywhere near as good as the first movie. And when I saw Serenity in the list, at first I thought "HUH?!?" But I guess the reapers are kind of zombyish. I loved FireFly and Serenity... Wish they hadn't cancelled it.

I thought 28 days later a bit amarteurst, 28 weeks later looked more professional... but it's been a long time since I saw '28 days later'. I have first season of FireFly in Netflix queue, thanks for suggestion.

It was cancelled early on. In fact, I think the last one or two episodes didn't even air. Which is why they made the movie, to finish the story. Shame really, the first season was great.
