Create a new web application in sharepoint.

When i create a new web site in sharepoint administration, i type (eg.mysite) in "Host Header" text box.The web site i created cannot browse, all tasks for create web application are finished. But it is can browse if i type nothing in "Host Header" text box.If anyone know about this problem, pls point me. kmb ^.^

At least one site collection needs to be defined under one web site.
