Merchant Account Suggestions?
-
We are putting up a shopping cart & need a merchant account in order to process CC’s. We anticipate low volumes, so we are willing to trade higher transaction fees for minimal or no fixed fees. Any suggestions? Ones to avoid? Thanks!
I use Google Checkout and am relatively satisfied with their fees. Low volume is 30 cents and 2.9%. http://checkout.google.com/seller/fees.html[^]

PayPal also supports payment by credit card.

If you need an actual merchant account, I've had good luck with Authorize.net. Otherwise the other recommendations are good, too.

Thanks for the feedback - Google looks like the best bet for now. I didn't realize their fees were that low. Slightly OT I have had horrible treatment from paypal. They clearly take the buyers side in any dispute even when it is clear the buyer intends to rip off the seller. After several cases of what I consider to be Paypal assisted fraud, I refuse to sell through e-bay anymore. Thanks!
