Ah, how wrong i was! Turns out, they're the equivalent of the local bar, paying for the privilege of allowing some scruffy rascals to butcher your favorite tunes while you try to drink enough to where you can enjoy it. You're not being gouged, you're just paying a cover charge! And you even get to bring your own beer...
