I was half tempted to jump over version 1.0.0.13 for an application I sent to a client today. If stuff goes haywire, at least I can tell them it's because it was version 13! :) Anybody else have any weird superstitions they follow, like not programming under a ladder?

I am not superstitious but I remember jumping over one version from build 13 to build 14, just because it was easy to do so with the automated build system in place.

I try not to step on the cracks in my logic. Does that count?

That would break your compiler's back!

 Every time I compile, I spin around in my chair, and say no whammies, no whammies - STOP! (Not really, but I might start doing it, because it sounds kind of fun.)

Corel went from CorelDraw Graphics Suite 12 to CorelDraw Graphics Suite X3 and Wordperfect 12 to Wordperfect X3

I wrote and sold some software many years ago - every (floppy) disk was numbered, and every disk worked correctly...except number 13. I do however think it was just a coincidence.
