Are shit. I'm quite heavy handed with my keyboard and everyone complains that I make too much noise while typing. A rollup keyboard seemed in order but you have to really hammer the keys before it works.

Cheers Garth I don't really care whether or not i really care or not.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who does this. When I'm typing up my notes, the teacher has been known to stop teaching and ask me to type quieter. Something I've found which helps is using a soft-touch keyboard. I've used it at home for some time now, and it's relatively quiet. Now if only sixth form weren't so cheap as to buy the cheapest keyboards they could get :(

      Seems like an odd request.

Oops. I got a few wires crossed for a while; either that or made a typo and corrected it badly. Thanks either way

I replaced my old Model M with a das keyboard[^] a while back. Very nice. Very loud. (Very expensive). If you liked the old Model M and you don't want to eBay an original, I highly recommend getting one of these.

Start using the Windows build-in speech recognition imitating a heavy Indian accent. After some time your mates will beg you to continue typing no matter how noisy it is.

Looks very appealing, but I think I'm hooked on MS's 'Natural' style now.
