I didn't realise until today that a beta of a C++ variant of NDepend has been released[^]. Which is nice, for those of us working on legacy C++ projects. Their analysis of MFC[^] is quite enlightening - I'd be interested in seeing a parallel analysis of some other C++ framework, such as Qt, which has a better reputation than MFC. Hmmm - it's all open-source (Qt and CppDepend), so I guess there's nothing (other than time and inclination) stopping me from doing it myself.... [edit]Didn't realise it was a commercial product...so I suppose the usual disclaimer (I am not in any way involved with NDepend, yada, yada, yada) ought to go in here. The C++ beta's a free download at present, though[/edit]

Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p

Interesting - trying it out now against one of my huge legacy MFC projects. BTW the UI looks *terrible* if like me you use large fonts. Still, it's only a beta. :)
