Weven, Weight, Wine and Wen

The apparent penchant for calling Windows 7 'weven' should lead to interesting names for the next few Microsoft OS releases. Weight - A really heavy version? (c. 2011) Wine - A heady release building on the success on weven and weight. (c. 2013) Wen - Delivery of this reported OS release not known since Microsoft was assimilated into Apple, and both were taken over by the Open Source Foundation. When is a good question.

They won't announce a delivery date for this one.

I prefer the Roman numerals versions: WVIII: Pseudo-clever marketing ploy to get to the Wii crowd. Unfortunately, the last Wii console died two years before. WIX: No one notices that the name is the same as Microsoft's inhouse XML-based MSI installer widget. Moreover, no one cares. WX: The new marketing group insists that the new version is pronounced "Works", and end up with puzzled looks on their faces when the press laugh hysterically.

The OSS community finally is able to completely emulate windows and the WINE emulator destroys Microsoft.
(c. 2013) Wen - Delivery of this reported OS release not known since Microsoft was assimilated into Apple, and both were taken over by the Open Source Foundation. When is a good question. No explicit Wen version exists any more after the wine project forks into dozens of separate distros each with unique revision schedules.
