I recently got myself a new Samsung phone, and was a bit fed up with the "New PC Studio" software that comes with it, as it only syncs with Outlook (and I keep all my stuff elsewhere) After a bit of hacking, I've found that it's internal database is just an Access mdb, so I'm busy making a little tool that'll sync PC Studio's database with external sources - currently I've got it importing iCal formatted files from Google Calendar, but I'll certainly try to make it sync more things! Anyone interested in this, once I get it working?

Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit! Buzzwords!

My gf recently got the Jet, the software that came on disc refused to install, with the helpful message stating it wouldn't install New PC Studio because New PC Studio wasn't installed  Got the version off their website which seems ok. She probably wouldn't care though (intreagues me a bit), technology frustrates her. :)

I'm rocking the Samsung Omnia myself. I only sync it up to offload pictures and change out MP3's. If applicable you should write and article about your modifications.

I would - I got PC Studio to work once, but never since. At the moment I get around it by transfering data via bluetooth or memory card. I have to say though that I've found the UI on the Samsung (I have the G600) a bit of mess. I try to use it as little as possible, really.
