Let me see, he was in the US to promote a film about racial profiling of Muslims after 9/11. He is making a big fuss about an hour detention to clarify his identity, a detention which TSA says was not an "official detention", but merely an "informal interfview" (Bureacrats - I have no idea what the significant difference might be). What do you suppose the possibility is that Khan is doing this in part as a publicity stunt for the film, and that he caused most of the ruckus himself? It certainly wouldn't be the first time a celebrity took advantage of the stupid security tools (minimum wage functionaries who srte paid to 'just follow the rules')? And why do you find it necessary to keep bring this up? (added my 1 to your "ghost voter").

Add me to the 1 voters too. In my case because it is a REPOST and what's more, from memory anyway (can't be arsed to look), you contributed to the thread!!

I cannot agree with your wording, putting side by side "stupid security tools" and "minimum wage functionaries" is outrageous. Also, do you imply being badly paid means someone is stupid, and being well paid allows one to break the rules? Once again, cannot agree there.

This is the first post I do about this news. ... crunch ... ... crunch ... ... crunch ... Would you imply racial profiling is a hot topic in the US nowadays? Sounds like a pattern is emerging here... Hey guys, found a new niche market to beat crisis!! (in case you did not grab your fair share of the stimulus)

I do not see how this can be a repost, given the news is just an hour old. :suss:

Not at all. I just don't respond well to trolls who prefer personal attack to actual issue discussion. Since you made it quite clear which you are, I choose to have no further discourse with you. You are beneath my contempt.

That is a very good point. I think that an informal interview would mean if it's sorted out then there is no reason to add a flag to his records.

I can see you are following the member who makes silly jokes about my id, insults me, and then modifies his/her post to make believe he did not do it...
