        Good idea. I would also allow the user to decide on the colour. Perhaps you could post the code when you have done it so we can all use it.

          What these guys are trying to tell you is, you didn't ask a question, or show any signs of having done any work yourself. Why is it that you can't work out how to use a timer, or a button ? Have you read any books on VB.NET ? Have you read any articles ? Do you know anything at all, to give you a basis to understand the answer if someone decided to do all this for you ?
