I'm sure it has nothing to do with an analytical mind... more likely it's related to the dearth of breeding opportunities for geeks. Word of the day: Rotundacrat

I once read this, so I thought why not ask those involved? Are programmers more susceptible to porn? Just curious. Darroll Not one person lives in the present. Only the past. I can prove it.

Why, everybody knows that programmers have the most active sex life of any other profession, why would they need porn? Joel

No, not from my experience. It seems that people in other fields watch porn far more than programmers. Of course, maybe the programmers are just quieter about it. Later. No,I don't thnik so. It's not correlative. Where did you read? this is my signature for forums quoted from shog*9: I can't help but feel, somewhere deep within that withered, bitter, scheming person, there is a small child, frightened, looking a way out.

Seems unlikely - programmers usually have something useful to do on the net. It's the sad losers who like the idea, but have too small a brain for proper hobbys/interests who (IMHO) are most likely to use such sites :suss: The following statement about your geekness is true.
The previous statement about your geekness is false.

The group that I have found that is most interested in porn is always the male marketing people. A bunch of sleezballs, usually. (But in their defense, I do know a few marketing people that are really great--but they're the 1% category). Marc
