I remember the first time I saw that [edit] David [/edit], there are not a lot of sculptures that can raise goose bumps but that was one of them.
As a straight man I find him beautiful. Just goes to show the talent some of these people had that they can hew beauty from rough stone and make that beauty at such a deep level of the human mind.

Well I could have told you that. see here[^] Are we to deny some of the great pieces of art because of some prudish idea of morality? Botticelli's Birth of Venus, or Goya's La Maja Desnuda are examples of fine art that offend only small minded puritans. There is something intrinsically beautiful about the human body, and regardless of sex, age or appearance, nude art is a genuine art form and should not be censored on the whim of a few morons. Can anyone fail to be moved by the grace of Michalangelo's David? Ridiculous.
