I have a challenge to fulfil. My better half and I met online (in WoW), and want a small nod to that fact in the wedding. I tried to get my brother to think we're having a theme wedding, but another relative leaked the fact it was a tease. So, as a small tribute, we want a his-and-hers armoured figurines. It doesn't have to be accurate character class models - just a non-Xena-esque armoured male and female. It's not hard to find male knights, but I'm failing miserably to find one with appropriate bumps in the... upper torso. Anyone a collector, has a clue, can give me any pointers. I won't gain any Man-Points, but I might get Groom-tokens, which are far more valuable. UK / Europe supplire preferred, but not critical! Iain.

I have now moved to Sweden for love (awwww). If you're in Scandinavia and want an MVP on the payroll (or happy with a remote worker), or need cotract work done, give me a job! http://cv.imcsoft.co.uk/[^]

It was a concern of mine too, that "she" would be a trucker from Macclesfield called Barry. There are actually quite a few women in game. A minority, but a significant one. I'd say something like 25% very crudely. I would not recommend it if you're on the prowl though. Most of the ones I know play with their partner... Iain.

Have you looked into http://www.figureprints.com/[^]? I seem to recall it was linked to the main WoW site a ways back so proabably legit. They takes a snapshot of your character from the armory, you pose it the way you want, and they produce a custom figurine. -- you could blow some gold on the bride and groom gear and really geek out.

And I thought they are 40 year old FBI agents. Maybe it's a "blind wedding".

Personally, I love the idea that Raymond spends his nights posting bad regexs to mailing lists under the pseudonym of Jane Smith. He'd be like a super hero, only more nerdy and less useful. [Trevel]

Looks good, and you could not get a more perfect match. But ~ e250 for the pair... Ouch! Cheaper than a wedding ring though! I'm now thinking which char I'd pick... Iain.

I know. What are the chances that I'd meet someone with overlapping interests, a bit geeky, without being a clone. Similar sense of humour. And she even happened to be a looker. I remember showing a photo of her to a colleague at work, and his comment was "But... but... she's beautiful!". Which is flattering to Annika I suppose, But I still feel like I was insulted! As for staying lucky, I'll be happy if she never realises that she's way too good for me. Iain.

Just google it first and see if anybody has used that service. I remember reading some similar company providing figurines based on avatars which did a very botched job.

Iain.

Make them your wedding cake top instead of the traditional bride and groom in tuxedo and white dress.

OK, the actual name wouldn't have been the deal breaker! I hereby offer an unreserved apology to Barrys of the World. Iain.

I just imagined a pair of orcs in tuxedo and white dress ;P (I'm horde-side WoW player ;) ) BTW: If you play in the same guild, you can also make a wedding in-game. I have seen once something like this and it was awesome :-D
