TempUri.org - not sure if this is the right place
-
Is anybody else's firewall/proxy setup blocking TempUri.org? Or is the site just down? And if it is the proxy, what are your admins smoking (wanted to see if ours were on the same stuff).

Why are you trying to navigate to tempuri.org? To me it seems you need to correct the your namespace URIs in the web service/WCF code?

Well, it was saying that it isn't available. So, I tried the URL and nothing came back. I can search for Tempuri.org and it comes up in google cache, but nothing happens when I try to navigate there directly. And I've been having proxy server related problems all day, so I figured it was more of the same. I was just going through the W3Schools.com tutorial on XML Schemas as a learning exercise (since other things I need are broken atm). I guess this may be a programming question after all, but was really hoping it was more lounge/soapbox material.

I knew this was the right place to ask. I'm totally bookmarking that one - that's very handy, especially with our crap proxy. (PS: When I reference our proxy name in code, the variable name is always "poxy" and always includes a comment indicating that it isn't a typo).

Amusing that it's banned outright here at work, it's listed as an "Exploit" site. Ha! Take that Microsoft!

Your admins must be smoking the **bad ???**stuff...
I have been trying for weeks to get this little site indexed. If you wonder what it is, or would like some informal accommodation for the 2010 World Cup, please click on this link for Rhino Cottages.

tempuri is the uri a webservice has by default. It's TEMPuri because you should always change it to something that identifies you.
