Just get your damn vaccine!

Too late. I have swine flu, and the vaccine was released here in the past week or so.
Maybe there is a connection there. :~
As in, just my luck, the vaccine finally comes out, and I get sick at the last minute ?

Sure - all the other people who had swine flu in the past few months, they were an illusion. Everyone my wife works with had had it, I have no idea why it took so long to come our way.

They are testing for the virus in Oz?
Bob Emmett I solemnly declare that I do not wish the USA to be more like Britain, Canada, or Oz.
They did early on, before it became so widespread that it was a waste of time.

Were the cases you mentioned tested? Presumably, at this late stage, you weren't. You can see where this is going. :) How dja know it's swine flu?

My wife works for a speech pathologist. Yes, they all got diagnosed, because swine flu still meant they had to be extra careful about not coming in to work.

I won't take it because I'd rather take the hit and build my own resistance to the flu.
But isn't that how a vaccine works ?

Maybe it is, I'm not a doctor. The thing is that we've had more dangerous flues up here than swine flu. On the other hand, swine flu seems to spread more easily for some reason. I suspect I've already had it.

The vaccine is now available for free in Australia. I don't think I'll bother getting it. It's funny reading the comments on the videos you link to - they all sound exactly like you.

Whos the other one? I thought CSS was the main one:~
If everything was not true, would it be not true that everything is not true? So by saying everything is not true, you are automatically denying that everything is not true. Im so confused... FreeDOS - An open source modern MS-DOS/PC-DOS replacement.

A Vaccine essentially gives you a very small dose of the flu/bacteria/disease, sufficient for your body to overcome it and "learn" how to deal with it.

Because of 2 reasons, 1. People (on the whole) do not have any built up resistance to it, so they succumb to illness and whether they get better or not is another issue 2. Hygiene; Somehow, between when I were a lad and now, people don't know that they're supposed to cover their mouth when they cough or sneeze or to wash their hands even. Crazy.

It goes beyond just that. Sometime between when our grandparents were young and now people decided that scrubbing down the entire house with bleach when/after someone got sick was too much work. The magic of antibiotics has resulted in the dropping of much of the defensive hygiene that largely protected the general population from infectious disease for the previous few generations.
The latest nation. Procrastination.

Quote: "I can do things with my brain that I can't even google. I can flex the front part of my brain instantly anytime I want. It can be exhausting and it even causes me vision problems for some reason." That's right off of Christian's signature all the way back in June. I'd take his word for it. Once I find your original post, I'll post right here for your frustration and my enjoyment :)
