                            Even at HD resolutions, it's probably 5 DPI.

                              I don't like having only 1 screen My current setup (at home) is 2x 24" + 1 17" (used to be 2 17" but gave one to my brother) It works better (I think), don't have to switch between windows, all the information is there I just have to turn my head a little bit :)

                                Actually, that use of the apostrophe implies that one friend has many monitors. I would think the plural possessive would be more appropriate (to indicate that the monitor is bigger than each friend's monitor): friends'

                                    Nice. Actually, I read some article that claimed developer productivity increased with monitor size, but started to drop when size increased beyond 24 inches per monitor. My theory was that those developers were then using their monitors to watch movies on. Either that, or the time it took them to turn their head from one end of the monitor to the other caused lowered productivity ;P

                                        Aww, all I have is two 21". I do have a teeny bit more desk space, one day I'll be able to have to 24" at the real resolution of 1920*1200!

                                          They got a few of us dual 22 inch wide monitors. The guy who did not need (or get) them was really deflated.
