I must have done too much programming lately. Last night I was dreaming about programming, data and objects shuffled here and there according to various rules, and I tried to get it all "working" :) Anyone else having such dreams occasionally? Magnus

Yes, I once even solved a real problem that way. I recently dreamed that the surround to the fireplace in my bedroom turned into a set of windows tabs and I had to get them in the correct order. That was disturbing.

CCC solved so far: 2 (including a Hard One!)

He he, that reminds me of something similar but the other way around, in awake state. One of my screens was not in a good position, and I wanted to physically move it a bit to the side. But I was tired, really tired, so I tried to grab and move the screen with the mouse, you know, hold down the mouse button somewhere in the screen area and drag it a bit to the side. It did not work :) Magnus

Yes, but I usually get distracted by a smoking hot brunette who really isn't interested in programming.

When I started to work some years back, I was tracking memory leaks and during one night I dreamt that I had a memory leak in my own brain. That was a bit scary :~

I should think not. I suspect the lady in question would be more interested in a fire extinguisher or the likes.

It's a shame you can't remember the outcome of that dream.

Sadly yes; usually when I've left work with an unsolved problem (which is not to say that the dream has ever helped me solve the problem).

Yes. Unfortunately, evil spirits wake me up each time once I start sharing her interests.

If something has really disturbed me at work, almost certainly I'll be dreaming about solving the issue. I'd be debugging in the dream. Those are nightmares.

I dream about programming rather a lot - it is always absolute nonsense - the odd thing is even in the dream I am aware it is nonsense but I persevere anyway. I always wake up irritated.
