Hmm.. I'm the boss here and I don't think I have a severe case of stupidity. :) "In an organization, each person rises to the level of his own incompetence." Peter's Principle

I am the boss too, but mine is terminal... :~ Tim Smith "Programmers are always surrounded by complexity; we can not avoid it... Luckily, my current boss rocks! However, my passed 2 were unbelievably dumb. The one was so lazy that he only came in at 4:55pm each day - despite being the owner, and the other was just so stupid she thought that Cobol ruled the world (perhaps one of the reasons we never got on was because I refused to learn it ) All I can say is, stick it out, get as much experience as you can so you can apply for something better - when you eventually get a cool boss you will appreciate him/her so much more thanks to the pathetic one's you've had in the past.

Maybe you should have one of your employees respond to the question though. You may not be the most objective person to:-D answer.... You have to ask? Actually, don't have a boss now but am looking for one (or looking to be one, either will do.) My previous boss was the dumbest I'd ever had and one of the dumbest human beings I've ever enountered. The one before him wasn't much brighter, though he thought he was which caused much more havoc. Unfortunately, that one had replaced the best boss I ever had who was, unfortunately for me, also smart enough to get the hell out.

My boss is cool, he just doesn't know anything about programming. He just says, "this is what I want" and I build it. I guess that's the nice thing about working for a small company. Later. Brad Jennings
