Regulars to the programming boards were slapped down recently for being to brash with people who cant even be bothered to ask questions properly. No such slapping ever occurs to the rude idiots who sometimes frequent those same boards. This[^] idiot waited a full week to come back and continue throwing insult after insult at me. If you read the latest tirade[^], you'll see what I mean. This poster was abusive the whole way through the discussion a week ago, even after I provided a very full and in-depth soltion to their pithy little problem. Its about time these rude assholes get a week suspension. And don't tell me "They'll just create another account".... I don't care. Ban them, and ban them again if they do. Ban them a third time, and beyond that just block their IP. If that stops others in their Locale or ISP, then tough. Maybe it'll make people think about the consequences for others before being a twat.

I have found it works better just not to participate in the programming forums.

Need custom software developed? I do custom programming based primarily on MS tools with an emphasis on C# development and consulting. A man said to the universe: "Sir I exist!" "However," replied the universe, "The fact has not created in me A sense of obligation." --Stephen Crane

Shouldn't that be 0x3cd to be a little more precise? Next step is saying that Π == 3 for large values of 3? :)

Uh, no. 0x3c0 is 960 in decimal. Pi is the 960th Unicode character.

Even after blocking the user and removing the posts from the mainstream postings I would prever moving the thread to a diffirent message board where it will still be available. I've tried to find posts to see what all this is above, to have my own laugh about it, but everything has been removed.

My plan is to live forever ... so far so good

It's the Internet. People on it can't upset you; you can only upset yourself.

            Ok, didn't get it the first time :) I thought 0x3c = 3 14 and 0x3cd = 3 1415. Thanks for pointing out.
